I was born and raised in Dumas, Texas. After graduating from Texas Tech University, I was a County Extension Agent for Home Economics for three years for Swisher, then Crosby counties. Gary and I married and moved back to the Dumas area to farm. I was a stay-at-home mom with our three children Kayla, Blake, and Trey until they reached school age and I began teaching in 2000. I have been at Channing ISD since 2001. I feel fortunate to be teaching my two favorite subjects, Home Economics and Jr. High Math!
