Classroom Rules and Policies
Rules:
When the bell rings, the students will...
1. Be in his/her seat
2. Be quiet
3. Have supplies on desk ready to begin learning
(Supplies include English notebook, library book, blue or black ink only)
4. Participate in all daily activities
5. Not bring food, drink, or gum into the classroom
6. Be respectful to classmates and teacher
7. Not be allowed to leave class to retrieve forgotten items from lockers
Violation of these rules will result in a 10 minute lunch detention. Other levels of discipline will follow if a student should continue to violate these rules.
Policies:
1. All homework is due at the beginning of the class period. A time will be designated at the beginning of the class period to hand in homework.
2. 5 points per day will be deducted for late work. I will not accept late work after 5 days of its original due date.
3. The student is responsible for obtaining his/her work before or after an absence.
4. Make up work is due after an equal number of days to the absence. Make up will not be accepted after the equal number of days to the absence has expired.
