Welcome! My name is Andrea Lusk, and I am proud to be starting my fifth year at Channing ISD. I began my journey here as a paraprofessional and have spent the last three years teaching 5th grade. Prior to joining Channing, I spent 11 years working in the daycare at Boys Ranch, where I developed a deep passion for nurturing and supporting children through all stages of development.
I hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development from Amarillo College and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Living from Stephen F. Austin State University. I earned my teaching certification through iTeach and am currently in the process of enrolling at West Texas A&M University to pursue a Master’s degree in Special Education.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my two children—Aidan, who is in 11th grade, and Gabi, who is in 9th. I am truly passionate about education and committed to helping every student grow, learn, and thrive. I look forward to an amazing school year!
