Thank you to Frank Phillips College and Dalhart ISD for hosting Channing ISD secondary students yesterday for CTE Pathway Exploration. Students were able to see possibilities in nursing, diesel mechanics, and welding. We are looking forward to collaborating in 2025-2026!

Our field day events will begin at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. This is only for elementary students, but cheerleaders and juniors will be helping to run events. There will be a concession stand available courtesy of PTO. Please see the attached for a list of concession items and prices. The school will be purchasing each elementary student a snow cone. Secondary students will not be allowed to go out unless they have a parent or other family member attending.

Parents--Tomorrow, I will be notifying students who are on the list for Perfect Attendance for this semester so far. I will be taking students to Cynergy next Wednesday if they are still on that list as of that time. I will be calling students down tomorrow, then also giving them a note with details to bring home to you. Thank you for all you do in encouraging your student(s) to be at school. Channing ISD recently hosted a CCMR Fair for our secondary students in grades 6-12. We had representatives from colleges, the military, law enforcement, plumbing, electrical, information technology, agriculture, and health & human services. This was a wonderful opportunity for college, career, and military post-secondary exposure. Thank you to everyone who came to visit and share resources and knowledge with our students!
