Basketball Schedule Update:
December 20th will now be HOME GAMES at 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm vs. Pringle Morse.
January 24th will now be AWAY at Pringle Morse at 6:00 pm and 7:15 pm.
Parents, the Dumas bus is going to be about 20 minutes late this morning. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will not count tardies this morning for our Dumas students.

Channing ISD will be having our annual Christmas Program and dinner on Thursday, Dec. 12th. We hope you can join us for a wonderful program and delicious meal. The meal will be served from 6:00 - 7:00 PM, and the program will start at 7.
Our junior high boys fell a little short, but they played well! We are proud of our Eagles.
Congratulations to our junior high Lady Eagles on their win against Pringle-Morse. We are proud of you! Junior high boys are playing at 6. Come out and support our Eagles.
I apologize, but we are having issues with gradebook and it will be Monday, December 2nd before progress reports go home. Thank you for understanding, and I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and we will see you on the 2nd.
Elementary and Junior High UIL Scores. Overall, Channing ISD placed 3rd in elementary and junior high.
This is a friendly reminder that we will be hosting a home basketball game at Channing tomorrow, Friday, November 15th. The schedule is as follows:
- Varsity Girls: 4:30 PM
- Varsity Boys: 5:30 PM
We encourage everyone to come out and support our Channing Eagles and Lady Eagles!
This is just a reminder that tomorrow is our elementary and junior high UIL tournament at school. Our elementary students will be able to ride the bus home at their regularly scheduled time. Some junior high students may be late if they make the finals for oral reading or impromptu. Your student will be in contact with you to let you know if they make finals or not.
The school board meeting scheduled for this evening at 7 PM has been rescheduled to Thursday, Nov. 14th at 7PM in the library.
PK-6th grade parents,
If possible, please have your student wear something red, white, or blue on Monday for our Veterans Day program. It will begin at 10:15 am with our community Thanksgiving meal to follow.
Reminder: Picture Day is tomorrow and ALL students will be taking photos even if you don't order any. Students need to dress nicely and hats are not allowed as these will go in the yearbook. We will do different photos in the spring and hats will be allowed then.
Junior High Parents:
With the forecast calling for wet, cold weather on Thursday, we will NOT be going to Palo Duro Canyon. This trip will be rescheduled for sometime in the Spring.
