Parents of athletes who will be attending, here is the itinerary for the Stratford XC Invitational Meet.
Happy IT Professionals Day to Mrs. Rainwater! We appreciate all that you do to keep our IT up and running.
Our first XC meet will be held this Sat., 9/14 in Dalhart at Twisted Elms Golf Course. Runners may arrive at the school at 8:00 where the buses drop off, or at the golf course by 9:30. Girls race at 10:00, and boys 10:30. If returning with Coach Mendez, they will return from 12:30-1:00. Go Channing!
Please help us welcome Mr. Mark Harris to Channing as our new 6-8 English teacher and one of CTE facilitators. Mr. Harris has previous experience as JH ELAR teacher and we are excited to have him join our staff.

7th, 9th, and 11th graders will be recognized today for having perfect attendance last week. Great job, students and parents!

We had a wonderful time at Community Coffee, and the turnout was great. Thank you Channing Community for your input and collaboration.
Perfect attendance will be recognized by grade level on a weekly basis, and for the first week of school, the entire elementary, 8th, & 10th grades were here and received candy today.
To recognize individual perfect attendance, we will have the following:
Six Weeks Perfect Attendance: Popcorn Parties
Semester Perfect Attendance: Free trip to Cinergy
Entire Year Perfect Attendance: Free trip to Wonderland
Remember, if a student misses part of a day for a doctor's appointment and you bring us a note, it will be medically excused and will not count against them.
