8th-12th graders are taking the TSIA tests Tuesday and Wednesday this week. If your student has not yet paid their fees, please have them do so tomorrow. These tests are required for students to be able to take dual credit courses. Thank you!

Happy Principal's Day to Mrs. Chambers! We appreciate everything she does to make Channing School a great place to be!

We are so thankful for Carolyn Nelson, our math interventionist. For the last few weeks, she has worked tirelessly to help with STAAR math review. She prepped everything for the teachers, taught lessons, created games and prizes for the kids. On top of that, she baked brownies for students for after testing today. We appreciate you, Mrs. Nelson!


We are holding a send-off at 7:25 am tomorrow for our E-Sports students going to state!
Reminder--All transfer applications for the upcoming school year are due on Thursday, May 1st. Parents will be contacted no longer than May 29th about the status of your transfer request.

*****STATE BOUND!***** Congratulations to Yazmin Gutierrez for her 1st place win in Physics , earning her a spot in Austin on May 19th. In addition, Yazmin took 3rd overall as an individual.
In other news. both our Number Sense and Science teams placed 3rd overall, bringing home plaques. Number Sense team members: Xavier Fernandez (6th place), Victoria Moran, and Franklin Weldon. Science team members: Yazmin Gutierrez, Victoria Moran, Franklin Weldon, and Xavier Fernandez.

-High school students will be making up their Discovery Center field trip they missed on Tues., May 20th
We will have Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup this morning starting at 8:30. We also have a shot clinic available for the measles vaccine that is open to anyone that needs it. The shot clinic is from 8-12 today in the library.
