As we begin the academic year, we’d like to remind you that all students Years 6-12 who are issued a Chromebook or laptop will be charged a $20 non-refundable rental fee for the year which is due by August 21, 2025. Receipts will be issued.
✅ If the device is returned in good working condition at the end of the year, no further action is required.
⚠️ However, if the equipment is damaged, lost, or not returned, families will be invoiced for the cost of repairs or replacement.

Congratulations to Andrea Lusk. Ms. Lusk was selected as one of the finalists for Region 16 Elementary Teacher of the Year. She has a heart for education and loves her students. Not only does she teach 5th grade like a star, she is also very active in our PTO, and she is our Cheer sponsor. Help us congratulate Ms. Lusk on being named a finalist for Elementary Teacher of the Year! Channing is blessed to have her on staff.

New students need to bring their birth certificate, social security number and shot record. ALL students must register. We will be in Dumas this afternoon from 1 to 5 at Amarillo College.

Save the Dates! We will be having Registration July 23rd and 24th. July 23rd we will be in Dalhart at the Justice Center from 8AM - Noon, then we will be at Amarillo College in Dumas from 1PM - 5PM. July 24th we will have registration in Channing at the school from 1PM - 5PM. This is for ALL students - New and Returning. New students need to bring a copy of their birth certificate, social security card, and shot record. Please call the school if you need additional information.

We moved the volleyball camp to the last week in July so that more people would be able to attend. We also opened it up for 6th grade to attend as well. Please email Coach Lovett at

Reminders--Senior and kindergarten graduation walk is at 8:00 tomorrow morning. Students will be in caps and gowns and parents are welcome to attend.
Dismissal is at 12:30 pm.
Students with technology fines must pay those in order to receive a report card.
8th grade graduation is at 6:00 pm. HS graduation is at 6:30 pm.
