
West Texas A&M University will have their admissions counselors and advisors at the Rahll Campus of Frank Phillips in Dalhart on Wed., April 23, beginning at 5PM. This will be an informational and hands- on meeting for students interested in attending WT, and for students that have already been accepted to WT. They will help students complete applications and forms, and provide valuable feedback to students and parents. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Reminder--students bringing medicine to school must bring it to the office with their name on it and have a medication form signed by a parent or guardian stating how much they are allowed to have. Students are not allowed to keep medicine on them, and they are not allowed to give medicine to other students. If you need a medication form, please call the office tomorrow or have your student come by to pick one up.

The junior high district track meet this week at Boys Ranch has been moved to THURSDAY because of the weather forecast for Friday.
The high school meet at Vega is still on Wednesday.

The deadline to register your team for the volleyball tournament is tomorrow, April 1st. Email Brook Lovett at brooke.lovett@channingisd.net to sign up your team. Please send entry fee to Channing Athletics, PO box 9, Channing, Tx 79018, or bring by the front office by Friday, April 4th. We will have open gym from 4-6 PM starting Monday, April 7th - Thursday, April 10th, and from 1PM - 5PM on Friday, April 11th. Entry fee must be paid prior to practicing. We hope you will come out and support Channing Volleyball! Concessions will be available on the day of the tournament.


We hope you will join us this evening for Dinner and a Show. Our One Act Play team will be hosting an enchilada dinner this evening starting at 6PM, followed by their play at 7:30. The meal is $10 per person, and proceeds will help our One Act Team purchase costumes, make-up, supplies and materials. Thank you for supporting Channing School!


On Thursday, April 24th, we will be offering a vaccine clinic for anyone needing the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine. This will be in the school library from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and IS open to the public.
